Bathhouse and restrooms very clean. Hiking is required to reach the campsite and most do not have potable water. Site had a fire ring, questions for online picnic table and patio. We had a great relaxing time. We set up our awning and chairs at the back.
Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg KOA
Nice quiet wooded park that is very close to the trolley stop for area attractions. Campsites are a bit too crowded. Meaning ceiling fans, vents cabins by pool. There are a lot of trees which is good but not when trying to enter or exit a site. Sites are gravel, generally level, part and adequate size.
Great shops and traffic is better than it used to be. Beautiful relaxing campground. Instead of trash cans at each site, you will find a centrally located dumpster and recycling bins. Park is very well kept and staff is very friendly and helpful.
Most parks present a breakdown of charges on arrival, not just a credit card receipt. The campground employees were very kind and helpful. Enjoy a day with your family in one of America's most beautiful water adventure parks. Area offers many activities including over miles of hiking trails where you can view waterfalls, nature and wildlife. The large site we had was mostly level and overlooked a fast-moving creek.
This is the only place we go anymore so it is the one we enjoy and will stay at. The tent site wasn't big enough for our tent but we made do. Big rig friendly, long coaches should not have problems. The people next to us had a very loud pick up that came and went at all hours of the night. Their description in Passport America book was very deceiving.
Very impressed with this campground. The Visitor Center has good Cell coverage and is a great place to spend an hour learning about the park. Shady Oaks is very shady with a lot of permanent dwellers that have very run down campers and mobile homes. Laundry was neat and clean, dating website poland good machines. They need to add gravel to the sites because if it rains the sites could get muddy.

- It was beautifully landscaped and we had a great site right next to the pool and activity center.

The bathrooms are dirty and run down. Lots were very close and offered some shade. Welcome to your basecamp for adventure in the Smokies!
Restrooms and showers were clean. We made sure to lock the doors and roof of the Jeep, a safe neighborhood it is not. Friendly staff, good facilities. These sites are minimally developed.
Primitive Sites These sites are for tent camping only and water and electrical hookups are not available. Campsites include electric and water hookups and hitching lines. This was one of the most expensive campgrounds I have camped in, don't know as the campground was worth the extra charges.
Gatlinburg Tennessee Campgrounds
Group Campsites Group campsites are ideal for larger groups of campers. Reservations for campsites and picnic shelters may be made up to one year prior to check-in. Sites are concrete that slope rear to front but easily leveled. Staff is very helpful and nice.

More Local Area Information. We have beautiful waterfront sites conveniently situated with picnic tables and fire rings. Clean, organized and my boy lives in the pool. They do not give refunds at all.

For a home away from home, try our fully furnished Deluxe Cabins or Camping Cabins. The previous camper had dumped sewage on the concrete pad, we did not notice this until we were fully hooked up. Getting in and out of some sites could be tough if the park is full. These sites may have electric hookups and many have campsite water or access to a nearby community water spigot.

All campgrounds are pet-friendly. Many Tennessee State Park campgrounds are trash-free. Tennessee State Parks asks that all campfires be made with certified heat-treated wood or downed wood collected inside the park, india near the campsite. There were a lot of gnats or mosquitoes flying around some of the sites which was annoying at times. Enjoyed a great cookout with friends.
Not sure why such high ratings. The park is below the main road so the noise is not too bad. The campground itself is small but quaint with a few nice amenities.
Our family goes every year. Free Wi-Fi with weak coverage and bandwidth. Adequate water pressure with good taste. Fires permitted in fire rings. Amenities and campsite capacities vary at each park.
